Summary of role:

Autovista Intelligence is a start-up division within the Autovista Group.  It provides systematic insight on areas of strategic importance and significant commercial risk for the automotive industry.  It produces distinctive, actionable insights from proprietorial data, market-moving events and transformational trends to help vehicle manufacturers and fleet managers, and their financiers and advisors, to effectively manage residual value and total cost of ownership throughout the vehicle lifecycle.  Our mission is to stand out both through pan-European cross-border insight (interpreting and contextualising our unique data) and through our delivery mechanisms; web, email, mobile.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing (UK), the Digital Marketing Executive will successfully implement the pan-European marketing plans of Autovista Intelligence, with support from the division’s Digital Product Director.  The Digital Marketing Executive will market new and existing services to customers and prospects through digital channels, increasing engagement, and creating new subscription revenues.  

Key responsibilities:

Implementing marketing strategy and tactics

  • Execute the content marketing strategy of Autovista Intelligence
  • Create new and increase existing revenues through targeted marketing campaigns
  • Write compelling copy with clear calls to action to convert traffic to results
  • Scale our social media activities, for example on Twitter and LinkedIn, with emphasis on engagement and results
  • Devise and implement strategies to enhance our SEM performance in key search engines through SEO in order to ensure Autovista Intelligence features prominently in Google rankings for search terms relating to our product and service offerings
  • Manage and update the ecommerce website and implement enhancements to the visitor experience in order to improve onsite conversion and engagement
  • Work closely with the sales team to devise, develop and implement new business campaigns that drive new business opportunities to support the commercial goals of Autovista Intelligence
  • Create high impact newsletters for existing accounts to increase numbers of users and engagement with existing products and to cross-sell products and services
  • Devise, develop and implement in-life campaigns that drive customer retention and improve product usage
  • Implement our visual identity guidelines consistently and use the launch of our new design to generate high impact campaigns

Campaign effectiveness

  • Measure and monitor campaign effectiveness and use insight as a basis for future decision making
  • Set objectives and KPI’s for every marketing campaign and feedback performance and results to the business on a weekly basis
  • Analyse audience behaviour and recommend changes to marketing approach accordingly to ensure achievement of financial targets
  • Monitor website and campaign performance using website analytics and use insight as the basis for improving performance


  • Identify and implement leading digital marketing techniques to increase web traffic, conversion rates and inbound leads
  • Keep abreast of the digital landscape in order to ensure we leverage the best and most relevant technologies to our advantage and to improve our customers’ online experience

Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours required: 

  • Experienced in writing accurate, engaging and interesting online copy
  • Experience of using a variety of digital marketing channels including email, web, social, content, search, advertising etc
  • Excellent practical knowledge of the latest web content marketing strategies
  • Solid understanding of web analytics and search engine marketing principles
  • Competent with marketing database management and CRM systems. Experience of marketing automation systems would be beneficial
  • Basic understanding of HTML would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to get the job done
  • First-rate time management and organisational skills
  • Prior experience of working within a business intelligence publishing organisation desirable
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
